Short version: Dropweb Proxy does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything you configure stays on your device.

What data we collect

None. Dropweb Proxy does not collect or transmit any personal or usage data. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no remote servers operated by the extension.

What is stored, and where

The only information the extension stores is your local proxy profile — proxy type (HTTP or SOCKS5), host, port, bypass list, and the on/off state. This is saved using the browser's own storage API on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Permissions and why they are needed

proxy — to apply your configured proxy to the browser's network requests. This is the core function of the extension.
storage — to save your proxy profile and on/off state locally.
privacy — to set the browser's WebRTC IP-handling policy so your real IP address cannot leak outside the proxy while it is on.
alarms — to schedule a lightweight, local reachability check that only updates the toolbar icon. It sends no data off the device.

The extension requests no host permissions and has no access to the content of the web pages you visit.

Traffic routing

When enabled, the extension tells the browser to route requests through the proxy endpoint you configure (by default a local address such as 127.0.0.1:7890). The extension itself does not operate that proxy, does not inspect your traffic, and keeps no logs.

Third parties

No data is shared with any third party, because no data is collected.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "last updated" date.

Какие данные мы собираем

Никакие. Расширение не собирает и не передаёт персональные данные или данные об использовании. Нет аналитики, телеметрии, рекламы и удалённых серверов.

Что хранится и где

Единственное, что хранит расширение — это ваш локальный профиль прокси (тип HTTP или SOCKS5, хост, порт, список исключений) и состояние вкл/выкл. Это сохраняется через встроенный API storage браузера на вашем устройстве и никуда не отправляется.

Разрешения и зачем они нужны

proxy — применять выбранный прокси к сетевым запросам браузера. Это основная функция расширения.
storage — хранить профиль прокси и состояние вкл/выкл локально.
privacy — управлять политикой WebRTC, чтобы ваш реальный IP не утекал в обход прокси, пока он включён.
alarms — запускать лёгкую локальную проверку доступности, которая обновляет только иконку и не отправляет данные с устройства.

Расширение не запрашивает доступ к сайтам (host permissions) и не имеет доступа к содержимому посещаемых страниц.

Маршрутизация трафика

Во включённом состоянии расширение указывает браузеру направлять запросы через прокси, который настраиваете вы (по умолчанию локальный адрес вида 127.0.0.1:7890). Само расширение этот прокси не обслуживает, трафик не анализирует и логов не ведёт.

Третьи стороны

Никакие данные не передаются третьим сторонам, потому что данные не собираются.
